War of the Independents Scorecard

War of the Independents is a six-issue crossover series featuring dozens of independent comic heroes from various publishers, originally due to be released mid-2008. Published by Arcana Studios, it will be written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by Dave Ryan. It's impossible to do a full scorecard until it comes out, but advanced publicity has provided an eclectic list of characters who will be appearing. The premise is that the villains Kain and Orcus from Dave Ryan's Penance series attempt to create a reverse Tower of Babel to open the gates of Hell and destroy Earth. Unable to stop the villains on their own, the heroes of the Penance series gain assistance from Dawn and gather help from across time, space and the multiverse.

Who is turning up in the War? We've got two main pieces of information so far, a piece of promotional art (right) and a list of names to try and match to it.
