Marvel Comics on TV and in the Movies
Marvel Comics have made several attempts to bring their characters to both the big and small screen. While my site is aimed at covering characters less well known than those who belong to the "Big Two" (Marvel and DC), many of these interpretations of Marvel characters also added their own unique characters to the mythos, and it's those new and less well known individuals who have crept into the distant corners of the Marvel multiverse whom I plan to cover in the sections below.
It should be noted that while Marvel came to own Malibu's Ultraverse line, I don't intend to list the Ultraforce cartoon below. Likewise Mutant X, while owned by Marvel, doesn't use any Marvel universe characters, and is covered elsewhere.
Several of the films and shows below have website devoted to them (see individual pages for links), and there is also Mighty Marvel Movies which briefly covers them all.
Marvel has had cartoons of their characters on the go since the late 1960's, but apart from several variations of Spider-Man, it wasn't until the 1990's that Marvel cartoons really hit their stride.

When it comes to live action series, DC far outstrips Marvel. I'm only aware of the following.

Agents of SHIELD |
Live Action Films
Again, Marvel movies tended to be half-hearted affairs until the late 1990's, when Avi Arad took over getting them produced, and things turned around.
