The second attempt at a live action Captain America series, after the 1940s version. While flawed (the costume springs to mind, as does the lack of decent opponents in the first movie), it was still good enough to get a second movie made the same year, but didn't make it to an ongoing series. Reb Brown played the title character in this version, who is meant to be the son of the original Captain America.
