X-Men (2000)

X-Men was the first attempt at adapt Marvel's top selling mutant group to a live action, and works excellently. A hit, it has to date spawned two sequels, one spin-off and a prequel. The second movie was even better than the first, but the third proved disappointing. However, things appear to be back on track with the Wolverine movie.
