Powers/Abilities:Very strong.

History: The only survivor of the shipwrecked schooner Hebrides, Morgyn "the Strongest Man in the World" used his natural talents to fight the wild animals on Black Island and become master of the island.

Comments: One of the artists who drew Morgyn during the sixties was Ted Kearnon, who had created the look for Robot Archie a decade earlier. Thanks to Jim Croasdale for this additional information.

Having first appeared in The Rover, Morgyn reappeared in The Beano #1 through #14 (29th October 1938) and the The Victor in the sixties. In September 1961 he appeared in his own prose novel.
