Jack as he appeared in the 1980's, in Nutty First Appearance: Beano #355 (D.C.Thompson, 19 February 1949-58); Nutty (1980)

Powers/Abilities: Able to fly, apparently at great speed. His power seems to originate from wings on his ankles.

History: The son of the leading scientist on Mercury, Jack Flash crash-lands his father's ship off the south coast of England, and proceeds to have adventures for several years.

Comments: Jack Flash was reworked as Jackie Flash, a female version, for girls' comic Mandy. In spite of the similar name and powers the two characters are quite distinct from one another.
