Powers/Abilities: Able to control bees. Immune to bee stings.  

History: While researching a book, crime writer Vince Harley falls foul of jewel robbers, who attempt to kill him by emptying a carton of yellowjackets on him. However he discovers that he is immune to bee stings, and somehow gains the power to control them. Designing a costume, he uses this new found ability to get revenge on the robbers, and goes on to fight other crimes as Yellowjacket.
