Yoav Ben Chalav

Real Name: Unknown

Identity/Class: Unknown

Occupation: Unknown

Affiliations: Unknown

Enemies: "An evil wizard who kidnaps children and animals"

Known Relatives: Unnamed wife; Yoav (son)

Aliases: Unknown

Base of Operations: Israel

First Appearance: 1960's advertising campaign.

Powers/Abilities: He is described as "super powerful", which I'm guessing means superstrength and stamina.

History: (original series) Yoav was a boy who got his powers from drinking milk, and used these powers to fight criminals, terrorists, and an evil wizard. Eventually he even reached another planet and fought with the residents there.

(Yoav ben Yoav ben Chalav) By the 1990's, thirty years later, Yoav was married and had a son who likewise gained powers from drinking milk. Unlike his father, he didn't try to save the world from aliens and wizards, but concerned himself with trying to get through school safely and have the girl of his dreams notice him.

Comments: Yoav initially appeared as part of an advertising campaign encouraging people to drink milk (see Captain Goodguy for the same idea in Scotland). He was revived in the seventies with a different look and different artist, and facing less fantastic foes. He returned for a third time in the 1990's in "Yoav ben Yoav ben Chalav: Dor Aemsech (Yoav sone of Yoav son of Chalav: The Next Generation)" written by Itai Raicher and Udi Shapira, and drawn by Yuval Rubicheck. This new series turned up in "Iton Arutz Ayeladim" #11-30 between 1998 and 200.
