History: The Seraphim are a group of aliens, exiled to Earth by their race for twenty "cycles" for criminal activities against their home system and the Confederation of which it was a part. Insufferably arrogant, they decided to set up home in the centre of Washington, where they demanded humanity turn over thousands of people to act as slaves for them while they were on Earth. The Liberty Project were sent in to deal with them, only to find their powers severely overmatched. However they were enough of a nuisance to the Seraphim to make the aliens reconsider their initial plans, and withdraw. They returned, sporting new outfits, during the Total Eclipse crisis, having been manipulated by Zzed into working for him. Again they took on the members of the Liberty Project, and again they were convinced to discontinue what they were doing when Slick managed to put enough doubt into their minds as to Zzed's true plans.

The Seraphim all have highly developed psionic abilities. Each member has a slightly different speciality from their fellows.
