History: Dr.Mawell Krome invented a programmable smart metal which he names "Metal X". Under the direction of Redstone Research C.E.O. Owen Parrish, Dr.Krome developed Metal X into an armorlike protective suit. Parrish then recruited experts from different fields to form a squad called Team Metallix. Each of them would take turns wearing the suit, which enhances the natural ability of each wearer, giving each individual team member unique powers. The suits properties means that it can be transferred from one team member to another by touch, a process activated by willpower.

History: Dr. Krome, a brilliant innovator in the field of nano-technology, was funded by Redstone Research to perfect a programmable smart metal, which he named "Metal X". Metal X was an armour-like protective suit strong enough to withstand the harshest environments on or off the Earth. Max decided to build weapons systems for the suit, and sell it to the highest bidder, but Owen Parrish, C.E.O. of Redstone Research, found out and cancelled Max's funding, leaving him out in the cold. Allied with a new sponsor, Max perfected another smart metal which he bonded to his body to give himself fantastic abilities. He then sought to reaquire Metal X as well as revenge on Owen Parrish.
