Lady Luck debuted in the Spirit's newspaper comic - the title character used half of the sixteen page title, while Lady Luck shared the second half with Mr.Mystic. She debuted in the first issue, published June 2nd 1940, and her adventures there continued until March 3rd 1946. Quality Comics began reprinting her adventures with #42 of Smash Comics in April 1943, eventually retitling the comic after her with #86 in November 1949, though it only made it to #90 (August 1950) with its new name.
