History: Edward of Wickham was a farmer whose village lay on the edge of Sherwood Forest. The headman of Wickham, his village often gave assistance to the outlaw band led by Robin in the Hood.
Comments: An addition to the legend introduced in the Robin of Sherwood TV series. He was created by Richard Carpenter and played by Jeremy Bulloch. Had the series gone to a fourth season, the plan was for Edward to make the leap to being a full time member of Robin's band.
