Powers/Abilities: Andy can change into any animal he can think of.
History: Animal Lad's father was a zoo keeper and his mother an animal lover; as a result the infant Andy grew up surrounded by creatures from around the world. This constant exposure to exotic fauna somehow caused the child to gain the power to transform himself, starting when he was only 18 months old, when he transformed into a giraffe while trying to build a taller tower of building blocks.
