Powers/Abilities: Excellent fighter, skiller boxer.

History: Zomba lives on a Kraal at the edge of the veldt, a "fearless white man whose word is the law of right and whose mighty fists strike terror into the black heart of evil." When the local tribes the Huda and Wazi go to war again, Zomba puts a stop to it, annoyed that the natives have not yet learned that fighting solves nothing (unless, I guess, you are a white guy showing trying to set those natives an example of how civilised people live).

Comments: Yes, the above storyline is thoughtlessly racist, suggesting the poor natives need a white guy to show them how to behave properly and drum sense into them when they step out of line. It was the 1940s, and sadly there was a long way to go before a lot of people in "civilised" nations learned to think otherwise. On the plus side, at least the Africans depicted in the story were not drawn as caricatures.
