History: "Trixie Rogers, known widely for her stories on a mythical girl crusader against crime, called 'The Wing' - is, in reality, the very girl she writes about and her adventures become the plots of her stories... A magic cape, which when worn, overcomes gravity, enables her to fly."

Wing teamed up with Nitro in Joke Comics #17, where (in a turnaround from most comics of this era, and indeed, comics up until at least the 1980s) she rescues him after finding him bound to a chair by the villains.
