Powers/Abilities: The Storyge Chip gives the Soldier access to virtually any skill, both combat and otherwise, instantly. Somehow the things he sees are played back instantly to the boardroom of Universal Corporation.

History: Dr. Max Helstrom was the first scientist to win the race to successfully develop a human clone, for which he was sentenced to Life on Heartbreak Rock for crimes against humanity. The Universal Corporation of Mammon-7 had been working on developing clones for warfare purposes for some time (Rogue Trooper anyone?), and decided to break him out so they could use his knowledge. But first the had to locate him on a low-tech planet full of violent criminal tribes. They sent in the Universal Soldier, a man who had a tiny computer, The Storyge Chip, implanted in his brain. Adrenalin triggers the chip, causing the Soldier to experience a "Time Slip", where his own personality is replaced by another with skills better suited to survive the situation at hand.

Comments: Max Brewster is a certified coward, chosen for the Universal Soldier program because he wouldn't have the guts to betray the corporation. He is married.
