History: The reincarnation of the high priest of an Egyptian Sun God, Peter Ward's day time job was as an expert in Egyptian history, but at night he would fight crime as the Scarab. By touching his scarab ring, he transformed instantaneously in a blinding flash of light into his superhuman persona, granted powers beyond those of mortal men.
