Gabriel has supplied information on the DC version of this character. "A gas adheres itself to his face. (He is a) regular vigilante but on the same level as Batman, Nightwing and Bronze Tiger in terms of martial arts."

The Question served as the inspiration for Rorschach in Alan Moore's Watchmen. In the DC universe, Renee Montoya has recently become the new Question.
