History: Happy Shrapnel was a veteran member of Hammerstein's original squad during the Volg War, and when Hammerstein was told to gather a squad to go to Mars, Happy was one of the first robots added. Soon after the Mars mission ended it is reported that he died during a brawl.
Some time later the Warriors picked up a signal that led them to believe Happy was still alive. Returning to Happy's grave, they dug him up and revived him, but he declined to rejoin them, agreeing instead to become their armourer. Denouncing his original moniker as a "slave name", he chose a new identity: Tubal Caine, after the Biblical "forger of all instruments of bronze and iron".
