History: Centuries ago Spain was a country at war, with Arabs and Christians battling for supremacy. Following one such fight, the wife of the Conde de Roca (the Count of the Rocks) was raped by her Arab captor, Alí Kan. He discovered afterwards that she was pregnant, and eight months later she bore a son. Alí Kan educated the boy to turn him into an enemy of the Christians, but eventually, when he reached adulthood, his mother told him the truth: she had already been pregnant when Alí Kan raped her, and he was the son of the Conde de Roca.

Stunned, the warrior reconsidered everything he had believed. He developed a terrible hatred towards the man he had thought was his father, and became an implacable foe of the Muslim side. Having already made himself known as a warrior against the Christians, his change of sides necessitated he assume a disguise - the Guerrero del Antifaz.

Eventually Guerrero made peace with his past, and while never an ally of the Muslims, he lost his hatred of them, thanks in no small part to Zoraida and Aixa, Muslim women who befriended him. He married the beautiful Ana Maria and obtained a pardon from the Spanish king for having fought against him. No longer fighting the war, he would travel the world with his wife, seeking adventure.
