Grey Area

First Appearance: 2000 AD Prog 2012 (Rebellion, 14th December 2011)

Since a disastrous first contact incident accidentally infected a section of mankind with an alien nano-virus, turning them into a subspecies now known as the Gifted, mankind has zealously guarded its borders with heavily armed immigration officers, whose most challenging assignment is policing the Grey Area, a purpose-built city housing each and every extra-terrestrial visitor to Earth until their visas are processed.
