Jack Stiles was one of America's top secret agents, reporting directly to the President, Thomas Jefferson. So when he was told that his latest mission was to be stationed for an indefinite period on a small Pacific island recently occupied by the French, where he was to work with a British spy to halt Napoleon's advances, he wondered what he had done to merit being punished by being sent to such a backwater. Discovering that his new partner was a woman, Emilia Rothschild, only made things worse, especially when she proved uninterested in his charms.

Things started to look up during their first mission together, as Jack came to realise the strategic importance of the islands and his job there, and he and Emilia learned to respect one another's abilities and found they could work together. In order to operate more freely and not compromise his operations, Jack decided he needed to adopt a second identity: disguised with a cape, a pantyhose mask, and a swashbuckling attitude, he took on the persona of the Daring Dragoon.

Comments: Played by Bruce Campbell. The show lasted two seasons and 22 episodes.
