Powers/Abilities: The computer thought Harry was a F-20 fighter jet, allowing him heightened cognitive abilities, co-ordination, reflexes and muscular control. It even permitted Harry to survive falls from great heights (in one case from low orbit) to land safely by rapidly altering his position as he fell in order to slow his descent to a safe speed.

History: Harry Angel was an RAF pilot who narrowly survived the devastating crash of his Scorpion fighter plane. During the crash the onboard computer was thrown against his body, and the heat and impact from the collision melted the outer layers of his skin and somehow grafted the circuitry into him. With some of the connections attaching themselves to his nerve endings, making it impossible for surgeons to safely remove, Harry found that it had enhanced his mind and body, granting him superhuman abilities. After his enhanced abilities enabled him to save the visiting U.S. President from another plane crash, Harry was entrusted with being the test pilot for a new space fighter plane. The flight exploded thanks to sabotage by Soviet patsy Squadron Leader Harding, but Angel survived and apprehended the enemy agent.

Comments: Created by Chris Stevens and Carlos Pino.

After a very brief run, Harry seemed long gone and forgotten when he abruptly returned nearly 800 Progs after his last appearance in Armoured Gideon.
